Our trip around the world…

It’s getting close now, less than two weeks before we leave on our around the world trip.

Have purchased Tickets and travel insurance. We used the program “Star Alliance Mileage Calculator” to calculate our milage and it worked perfectly. Created our itinerary, went to the travel agent and he used the exact times and dates to almost all of the flights…..

So, the flights that we have included in our round the world package is:

• Sydney – Singapore
• Singapore – Kuala Lumpur
• Kuala Lumpur – Vienna
• Vienna – London
• London – Lisbon
• Lisbon – Stockholm
• Stockholm – Washington DC
• Washington DC – Boston
• Boston – Montreal
• Montreal – Newark
• Newark – San Francisco
• San Francisco – Sydney

From Kuala Lumpur we have purchased tickets to Phuket, Thailand with Airasia and then back to Malaysia after two weeks in Thailand where we will see Khao Lak (want to see what the place now looks like almost a year after I left it), Krabi, Koh Lanta and on the way back to Phuket, a day or two in Phi-Phi for some partying.

Back to Kuala Lumpur we will fly directly to Penang for a few days, then make it over the coast to Perhentians and Redang Islands for some tropical paradise. We then make our way to Kuala Lumpur for a few days and maybe a daytrip to Melaka. Leaving everything very open, will see what happens along the way.

After this it’s a day in Vienna, around 5 days in London, 1 week in Portugal, 3-4 weeks in Sweden, 2 days in Montreal, around 2 months in the USA and then flying back to Sydney.

Can’t wait for the trip to start…..
